Wilber Sermeno, 44, of Elk Grove has been identified as the man killed in south Sacramento on Saturday night, April 20th, in a crash involving an impaired driver who has been arrested.
Allen Vang, 35, was driving a Toyota FJ Cruiser, Vang collided with Sermeno’s Cadillac CTS at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Idaho Drive at about 8:54 p.m. on Saturday.
Sermeno was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in his vehicle were treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.
DUI Driver Arrested
Vang was taken into custody shortly after the accident and charged with a felony for driving under the influence. He posted bail a day later and is awaiting trial.
