Man, 56, Identified as Motorcycle Accident Victim
ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST (April 13th, 2019)
Authorities have identified a man killed in a motorcycle accident last weekend on Highway 39 near Mile Marker 26.49.
California Highway Patrol authorities were dispatched to the crash site which occurred at roughly 11:55 a.m. involving a motorcyclist and a vehicle.
The motorcyclist identified as Timothy Simpson, 56, sadly did not survive the aftermath of the crash and was tragically pronounced at the scene due to serious trauma injuries.
No details were provided on the driver involved and their condition following the crash.
CHP will be the agency handling the investigation which is currently pending.
Crash Investigation and Liability
While authorities have not disclosed which motorist will ultimately be held at-fault for this incident, the family of Timothy Simpson, may have the right to pursue a wrongful death claim against the defendant pending the investigation.
