Deadly Collision at Etiwanda and Cedar Avenues
RIALTO (April 9th, 2019)
Rialto police officials are investigating a collision which left a woman fatally injured Tuesday at the intersection of Cedar and Etiwanda avenues.
Authorities responded to the crash site which involved an unknown number of vehicles at precisely 1:09 p.m.
Confirmed to have been involved in the collision was a 2000 Nisan Sentra and possibly one or two other vehicles, although those details have not been verified at this time.
The aftermath of the accident tragically left Soledad Brambila, 75, with fatal injuries as she was pronounced at the scene. She had been a passenger sitting in the Nissan.
There were no reports disclosing whether or not any of the other involved parties suffered injuries.
No details have been provided at this time in regards to the cause of the accident or series of events leading to it.
Rialto PD will be the agency handling the investigation.

Following any traffic accident, investigators conduct a full examination of what happened looking into possible factors. Speed, possible mechanical issues with any of the involved vehicles, distracted driving, and driving under the influence, and are thoroughly assessed.
