Oxnard Man, 53, Identified as Fatal Victim
A 53-year-old carpenter from Palmdale was killed when a crane collapsed at a construction site in Oxnard on Thursday, April 11th.
The Oxnard Fire Department and Ventura County Fire Department responded to a call at 1:42 p.m. at the site on the 3000 block of Camino Del Sol.
A crane was lifting part of a wall when it collapsed, authorities told the Los Angeles Times.

The victim identified as Oscar Zuniga Ramos was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
About 10-15 workers were working on a 6,000 square-foot building in an industrial business park between Rice and Del Norte avenues.
The construction company that employed the victim, Gluck Building Company of Calabasas, is currently being investigated by the California Division of Occupational Health & Safety Administration investigates.
