Pedestrian Killed in Muscoy Crash on Cajon Boulevard
MUSCOY, San Bernardino County (March 14, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident along Cajon Boulevard Thursday evening, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP received a call at approximately 7:44 p.m. about a female pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle at 3512 Cajon Boulevard.
A witness claimed that the woman was hit by the car which was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed at the time. The collision occurred between Ogden Street and Kern Street.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that the victim died as a result of the crash.
The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the incident log did not mention whether or not the driver involved stopped after hitting the pedestrian.
The southbound lanes of Cajon Boulevard were forced to shut down following the accident. The tragic collision remains under investigation.
