WEST SACRAMENTO (April 11, 2019) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run after exiting his car in the moments after two earlier crashes on Highway 50 on Wednesday, April 10th, at approximately 2a.m.
The crash began when a 2018 Maserati collided with the center divider, blocking the left lane of traffic. The driver of the Maserati exited his car and stood in the center median. His vehicle was then struck by a 19-year-old Vacaville man, driving a Nissan Sentra.
Hit-and-Run Driver Still At Large
Shortly after that crash, another vehicle approached, hitting the Maserati driver, before speeding off.
The victim sadly died at the scene.
The vehicle that struck the pedestrian on Harbor Boulevard at about 2 a.m. fled westbound on Highway 50. The hit-and-run driver was in a white car with dark wheels, according to witnesses.
