Man, 64, Identified as Victim
TOLLHOUSE (April 14th, 2019)
A 64-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash with an SUV on Lodge Road in Tollhouse on Saturday in Tollhouse.
Katharine Bradford, 43, of Clovis was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger westbound on Lodge Road at about 1 p.m. when she hit the motorcycle, a 2007 Suzuki.
The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was driving eastbound on Lodge Road when before after navigating a turn and ultimately colliding with the Ranger.
The rider was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, there did not appear to have been any injuries suffered by Bradford.
The agency handling the investigation, California Highway Patrol, have ruled out the involvement of drugs or alcohol as they collision is under investigation.
Crash Investigation and Liability
While authorities have not disclosed which motorist will ultimately be held at-fault for this incident, the family of the victim, may have the right to pursue a wrongful death claim against the defendant pending the investigation.
