Tahoe Fails to Yield Right-of-Way to Lamborghini
SAN JACINTO (May 20, 2019) – Jose Jovel, 35, of San Jacinto was injured in a head-on crash at the intersection of Romona Expressway and Alessandro Avenue on Monday, May 20th.
The collision was caused by the driver of a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe that failed to yield to Jovel, driving a 2019 Lamborghini Huracan.
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene and report that Jovel suffered injuries and that he may have a broken leg.
The driver of the Tahoe suffered minor injuries and his passenger, his wife, reportedly suffered a head injury.
Police are investigating why the driver of the Tahoe failed to see the Lamborghini before turning at the intersection and crashing into Jovel. The investigation is ongoing and an official police report will be released once the investigation has concluded.
