John Reed, 54, Identified as Motorcycle Accident Victim
SACRAMENTO (April 9th, 2019)
A motorcyclist was killed in an accident Tuesday evening following a collision with a vehicle at the intersection of Q and 26th streets.
Sacramento police officials have responded to the crash site following the accident which occurred around 7:00 p.m.
Officials have determined that John Reed, 54, had been headed east on Q Street riding the motorcycle before colliding with an unspecified vehicle traveling northbound on 26th Street.
The aftermath of the wreck Reed with injuries described as very serious. Shortly after the arrival of emergency service worker personnel, Reed was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle involved stayed at the scene, was cooperative with authorities, and not determined to have been under the influence.
Sacramento PD will be the agency handling the investigation.
