FRAMINGHAM, Ma. (June 19, 2019) – A motorcyclist was fatally injured in a collision with a Ford Ranger SUV in Framingham on Tuesday, June 18th.
Authorities have identified the victim as Evan Maillet, 21, of Franklin.
The fatal crash took place at approximately 4p.m. on Beaver Street near Leland Street.
Good samaritan, Scott Hayes, witnessed the crash and jumped in and administered CPR and other lifesaving measures to Maillet until first responders arrived but Maillet sadly succumbed to his injuries. Hayes is a former EMT and soldier that had served two tours in Iraq.
Motorcycle Crash Investigation
The facts of the collision have not yet been released. There is an open and active investigation being conducted by Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Framingham Police, and Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section. There have been no charges filed at this time.
