MURRIETA (April 15, 2019) – A fatal crash involving a motorcycle versus vehicle in Murrieta left one man with fatal injuries on Friday night, April 12, 2019.
Eddie Ross, 52, has been identified as the victim that passed away due to the collision.
Ross was operating a 2010 Kawasaki and was traveling north on Atlanta Street when a 2011 Infiniti pulled out from Old Clay Street, entering the motorcyclist’s path around 6:00 P.M. Ross crashed head-on into the side of the Infiniti and died at the scene from injuries sustained.
The driver of the Infiniti, 40-year-old Imari Stewart, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Kennestone Hospital.
Both the victim and the driver involved were Marietta residents.

The Murrieta Police Department is investigating the deadly crash.
While authorities have not disclosed which motorist will ultimately be held at-fault for this incident, the family of Eddie Ross may have the right to pursue a wrongful death claim against the defendant.
