The incident took place at around 5:20 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, on U.S Highway 101. According to the Washington State Patrol, a sedan was heading northbound on U.S. Highway 101 when for an unknown reason it drifted into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a tractor-trailer, which was traveling southbound. The driver of the sedan, a 65-year-old, and their 64-year-old passenger, were pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating on the crash.
