Woman Critically Injured in Corona Crash at Main and Ninth Streets
CORONA (February 27, 2019) – A pedestrian was critically injured after a traffic collision in the area of Main and Ninth streets on Saturday evening, according to The Press Enterprise.
As per the article, police said a female pedestrian was struck by a truck for an unknown reason at the intersection of Main and 9th streets.
The accident took place on February 23 shortly before 7 p.m. near Corona Regional Medical Center and Victoria Park.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the woman lying unconscious in the roadway with major injuries as a result of the crash.
She was then transported to the hospital where she was listed in critical condition. Her name was not immediately available.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the two people riding the truck at the time were unharmed and apparently stopped following the incident.
Authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to determine what exactly prompted the collision.
