2 Women Injured After Car Crashes Into a Building Near Brookhurst and Orangethorpe
FULLERTON (February 27, 2019) – A vehicle slammed into a building Wednesday morning in the area of Brookhurst Street and West Orangethorpe Avenue, according to ABC News.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., a car reportedly slammed into an ophthalmologist’s office at the Fullerton intersection.
Shortly after the incident, firefighters arrived at the location and immediately extinguished the fire that started after the crash. As per the article, the blaze left the single-story building significantly damaged.

Meanwhile, initial reports mentioned both the driver, and the passenger of the vehicle suffered injuries as a result of the crash. Officials mentioned a Good Samaritan helped pull one victim out of the wreckage. Responding paramedics transported both parties to hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Following the preliminary investigation, police determined alcohol may have been a factor to the collision. No arrest has been issued at the time as investigation is still on going.
