Bicyclist Injured in Simi Valley Hit-and-Run at Madera Road and Easy Street
SIMI VALLEY (February 27, 2019) – A bicyclist was hospitalized after an alleged hit-and-run crash in the area of Madera Road and Easy Street earlier this month, according to KTLA.
The accident took place on February 7 just before 4 p.m. near the 118 Freeway.
As per the article, police said a bicycle rider began crossing Madera Road when he was struck by a vehicle at the intersection with Easy Street.
The other motorists were stopped for a red light on southbound Easy Street but one driver allegedly sped through the intersection and ultimately hit the cyclist.

Paramedics responded to the site and found the bicyclist suffering from non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. The patient was then transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The name and condition of the victim at this time remained unknown. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the party who collided with the bike did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
The suspect car was described as a blue, 2013- to 2015-model Dodge Dart which sustained possible damage on its passenger side. The incident is still under investigation.
