Two Bremerton Residents Killed in Shelton Accident on State Route 101 [caption id="attachment_6066" align="alignright" width="300"] Fatal 3-Car Crash on North East 136th Avenue in Vancouver[/caption] Shelton, Washington State (January 11, 2019) – Two Bremerton residents were killed in an accident involving two vehicles on Wednesday morning in Shelton, according to the Washington State Patrol The collision took place at about 5:20 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, on State Route 101. Police said the collision occurred when a passenger car was traveling northbound on State Route 101 when it crossed over the centerline into the path of a Kenworth logging truck. The semi then struck the passenger car. Two people from Bremerton in the passenger car were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been released pending identification and notification of their relatives. The driver of the truck was not injured. No other details concerning the crash were released immediately. The accident remains under investigation.
