Santa Cruz Fatal DUI Crash on Soquel San Jose Road Leaves Driver Dead, Passenger InjuredSANTA CRUZ, CA (March 30th, 2019)

Police have identified Luciano Patino Bracamontes, 45, of Los Gatos as the man killed in a suspected drunk driving accident on Santa Cruz County on Saturday.

A 42-year-old passenger in Bracamontes’ vehicle survived the crash, but sustained serious injuries.

Authorities confirmed that Bracamontes was driving a 2007 BMW 328i at about 10:20 p.m. on Soquel San Jose Road when he lost control of the vehicle and went off of the mountainous road. The BMW ultimately flipped and crashed into a tree.

Bracamontes was pronounced dead shortly after the crash.
