Freightliner Crash Investigation and Liability
While liability seems clear for this incident, forensic examination of the Freightliner and all of the other vehicles involved, as well as photos that were taken of the scene, will help investigators determine what exactly caused the Freightliner operator to crash. Authorities will thoroughly look into how fast the Freightliner driver was going, whether or not alcohol or drugs were involved, and whether or not there were any mechanical issues with the truck. The investigation will also consist of looking at measurements of evidence left by the vehicles such as point of impact, final resting positions of each vehicle, skid marks, and gouge marks.
Injured car accident victims not found at-fault are entitled to compensation for medical expenses and hospital bills, as well as, pain and suffering.
