FORT ROSS (April 8, 2019) – A vehicle veered off of Bohan Dillon and crashed in wet and foggy conditions at about 9 p.m. on Friday, April 5th.
The 30-year-old male driving the car was sadly killed in the crash and his girlfriend suffered a broken leg.
Injured Victim Crawled Up a Ravine with a Broken Leg
After more than 12 hours alone in rural Sonoma County, the woman that was seriously injured in a car crash was finally rescued after she crawled up a ravine and was spotted by a motorist.
The man’s name has not been released. The woman was helped by a passerby at about 11 a.m. when she crawled up the gorge and was airlifted to the hospital.
At this time, It is unclear what caused the crash.
Police will conduct an investigate looking into the facts which may have caused the collision in an effort to determine liability, but this should not preclude an independent investigation by an attorney and/or expert witnesses for a comprehensive view of all contributing factors.
