A 28-year-old man was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday night in the 200 block East of Santa Clara Street in Ventura.

The pedestrian was struck at about 9:15 p.m. and suffered moderate injuries and was treated at the scene.

The vehicle that hit him did not stop and police are looking for the driver.

Police believe that the vehicle that hit the man is a white Nissan Sentra.

Law enforcement found physical evidence at the crash scene and an investigation is ongoing.
