HEMET (April 7, 2019) – One person died and two others were injured in a collision East of Hemet shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 6.
Several emergency personnel responded to the crash involving a white Kia Sedan and a white Chevy Trailblazer at the intersection of Soboba Street and E. Whittier Avenue. They found three victims, one of whom had to be cut from the wreckage and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two others declined to be taken to the hospital.
The identity of the dead motorist and the cause of the accident hadn’t been released as of Sunday afternoon.
Several citizens stopped to offer aid and comfort to the victims until police and emergency personnel arrived.
