Geoff Zamora, 29, Identified as Fatal Victim
TUMWATER, WASHINGTON (April 2, 2019)
According to the Washington State Patrol, a 29-year-old man was killed following a DUI solo vehicle car crash last month on Thursday, March 21st, on Lake Park Drive.
Authorities responded to the crash site which occurred at roughly 1:05 a.m. involving a 1991 coupe style vehicle.
Per officials, the driver of the coupe identified as Billy Souvannakasy, 23, had been traveling along Lake Park Drive at high speeds before losing control and crashing.
Souvannakasy’s passenger, Geoffrey Zamora, 29, suffered major injuries in the wreck. He was rushed to a local area hospital, where he sadly died of his injuries.

Meanwhile, officials were able to determine that Souvannakasy had been driving under the influence and was arrested.

Authorities have arrested and will hold Billy Souvannakasy fully responsible after being confirmed to have been under the influence while operating a vehicle. With liability being determined, family of Geoffrey Tumwater will have the right to pursue a wrongful death lawsuit.
